Admin panel for the academic manager¶
Who this is. The academic manager (methodist) is the teaching-quality supervisor. This is the very role that the live "nazoratchi" turns into: previously they watched lessons manually on the camera and filled in the observation form, now ControlAI does the grunt work for them, and the academic manager reviews and corrects the ready-made AI scores. Their corrections are not lost — they make the system more accurate (this is our "accumulation effect").
In the current MVP there is no separate "academic manager" role yet — its functions are performed by the general "manager" role. Below is the target picture.
What they see and can do¶
Method compliance (main screen)¶
For each lesson ControlAI fills in the center's rubric. The academic manager opens the filled-in form and sees for each criterion: the AI score, a short evidence quote from the lesson and how confident the AI is. Their task is to confirm or correct the verdicts. Disputable and subjective items are flagged by the AI itself as "needs a human look" — the academic manager looks at those first.
Every correction made by the academic manager is saved and improves future scores — so over time the AI errs less and less often, and the academic manager has less and less manual work left.
Topic coverage¶
By group, you can see what has already been covered from the planned program, what has been covered partially, and what has not yet been covered — cumulatively by topic. Useful both for control and for planning.
Method configuration (center profile)¶
The academic manager (together with the owner) sets the "rules of the game" for the AI: - uploads the rubric (the lesson observation form); - uploads the program and textbooks (what should be covered and in what order); - configures the review focus to match the center's methodology.
Lessons, transcripts, analytics — for context¶
The academic manager sees the lesson feed, transcripts, metrics and teacher analytics — to judge quality in the full picture, not by a single criterion. Consents — for viewing.
What the academic manager usually does not do¶
- Does not handle billing and payroll — that is the owner.
- Does not manage equipment and the schedule at the configuration level — that is the branch manager (although they see the results).
The main point: the academic manager is the "human expert" on top of the AI. ControlAI fills in the rubrics for all lessons, and the academic manager reviews, corrects and sets the center's methodology. This way the center covers every lesson with control, not just a couple, while preserving live expertise.
