Admin panel for the superadmin (the ControlAI team)

Who this is. The superadmin is us — the ControlAI team. No university staff member holds this role: unlike every other role, which works inside a single university, the superadmin sees the whole platform and serves all connected organizations. This isn't a customer role — it's our operational tool.

In the current MVP a dedicated superadmin console hasn't been built yet — some of the functions below are on the roadmap. Below is the target picture.

What they see and can do

Platform health across all organizations

The processing status of class sessions across all connected organizations at once: where everything is running smoothly, and where failures or "stuck" tasks have piled up. The ability to restart processing and reprocess class sessions (for example, after a model improvement).

University onboarding and setup

Registering a new university, configuring the connection to its video recorder (the university already has cameras and a recorder — we connect to the existing infrastructure), checking recording availability and quality, including an audio audit — checking sound quality in classrooms.

Platform-level billing

Tracking the volume of analyzed hours and spend for each connected organization — reconciled against the terms of its contract.

Quality of the analytics itself

Monitoring the quality of the analytics itself: how accurately Uzbek-Russian code-switched speech is recognized, how well the models perform, and where intervention is needed. This is what helps us improve the product.

A "privacy line" applies here: our internal operational logs contain no personal data (names, phone numbers, conversation text) — we see the state of the system, not the content of class sessions; access to a class session's content is only granted case by case — when investigating an incident at the university's request. More detail is in the Privacy and Trust chapter.

How the superadmin differs from university roles

  • Works across all connected organizations, not inside a single university.
  • Focuses on operating the platform (reliability, onboarding, model quality), not on managing a specific university.

Bottom line: the superadmin is our internal role for operating the whole platform: processing health, onboarding universities, billing, and analytics quality control — across all connected organizations at once.
